Meadows RAs volunteer at Rosie's Place

In taking an initiative for social change, the Meadows RA staff volunteered at Rosie's Place, a homeless shelter for women located in Boston, in late March and early April. Katie Tessitore '09, one of the Meadows RAs explained that "this year, Meadows was responsible for Women's History Month, which took place in March.

Abdolkarim Soroush spoke to a packed Hindle auditorium about his philosophy on democracy's place in the Islamic world on Monday April 7. Wheaton joins institutions such as Harvard and Princeton and Georgetown in inviting Soroush to share his intellectual insight on the compatibility between democracy and Islamic society.

Then when someone asks you, "hey didn't you date so and so?" you try to assure them there must be some other person with the same name and similar features as you kissing that person outside Balfour last semester.
