Men's baseball still hoping to attain a NCAA bid

In a span of less than a week, Babson twice delivered devastating blows to the Wheaton baseball team. On April 24 they prevented Wheaton from clinching the NEWMAC regular season title. And then this past Saturday the Beavers eliminated Wheaton in the NEWMAC Tournament semifinals 8-7.

The men's lacrosse team has turned things around this season and as they enter into the playoffs, one must take notice of the quality play of goalie Schuyler Horn '10. Horn has helped lead his team into second place in the Pilgrim League. The Lyons are 6-6 overall, but 6-1 in league play.

Men's tennis surges late, finally beaten in NEWMAC Tournament to end year

For the young men of the Wheaton College men's tennis team, the 2009 season has been quite an interesting one. Finishing third in the NEWMAC and owning a solid record of 10-6, the Lyons came close to realizing their dream of knocking off the newly-crowned, 11-time and defending NEWMAC Champion MIT Engineers.
