Sex vs romance

Once you have sex does the romance gradually fade?
Although romance can lead to sex, it is more the method of expressing your affection toward your significant other. It is that unique communication that is not demonstrating your physical attraction, but rather the respect and admiration you have for each other.
Plain and simple, romance makes you feel good. The absence of passion is one of the top reasons why couples break up. When couples begin dating, romance is easy because "the chase" makes everything exciting. Although sex is mostly replaced by other types of foreplay, there seems to be more occasions with that whisper in her ear or that note just reminding him that he's on your mind.
Yes, sex can be passionate, varied and, of course, can feel incredible, but unfortunately, many couples eventually find their relationship in a rut. This familiarity leads to an awful routine, almost as if you were penciling in your partner for a block of time, which only consists of sex. I remember a friend telling me that even intellectually stimulating conversations had vanished from her relationship. They now consisted of basically, "How was class, it sucked, alright let's have sex now."
Romance does not have to be expensive; it is the time and attention that is important, not how much money is spent. Familiarity might make it easier to handle the demands of everyday life, but the price you pay is this type of lull in your romance. And in no way am I saying stop having sex. Just try and take time to be spontaneous; steal an extra kiss from your partner, go for a walk at sunset,or run your fingers through their hair, because really, there is absolutely no reason passion should disappear.
