THE ORCHARD HAS BEEN PLANTED!!!
Please swing by and catch a glance of the first 15 sweet honey crisp baby apple trees marking the inception of Wheaton College's Murphy Apple Orchard, which broke ground on Earth Day. It is a memorial to late, beloved political science professor Jerry Murphy, who passed away this past winter. We are confident this glorious expose will promote and sustain community engagement and environmental consciousness. It is up to the Wheaton campus now to embrace and care for the authentic and munificent apple orchard, creating endless memories for generations to come!
Please email: appleorchard@wheatonma.edu for more information. Also, we welcome you to join the list serve, by emailing: wheatonorchard-on@wheatonma.eud. We would love for you all to be apart of the planting process as it unfolds!
Let's redefine what sustainability means for this small and special community facing unparalleled global consequences.
